Lea came to Cardiff having studied and worked in London. With a degree in Economics, she arrived in the capital with a job at the National Assembly. Now on her own again with a baby, will the dramas in her life subside or will the rollercoaster just keep going, and going?

Since graduating from the Welsh College of Music and Drama in 1999, Alys, originally from Llangollen, has had a hugely varied career. In 2009 she could be seem playing Lisa in the successful BBC drama series Mistresses and later this year will be staring in Crash again for the BBC. Alys will also be gracing the big screen in April in the much-anticipated The Big I Am, starring Michael Madsen. Her many theatre credits include A Toy Epic, Flora’s War, The Way It Was and Terry Hands’ Arcadia, all for Theatr Clwyd, Ed Thomas’ Stone City Blue and Paradwys Waed for Theatr Bara Caws. Alys recently played Yelena in Andrew Hilton’s acclaimed production of Uncle Vanya at Bristol Old Vic Theatre. She’s an avid runner, very proficient in Spanish and hates frogs!
