Aled made his television debut many years ago in the S4C sitcom, Hapus Dyrfa. He recently stared in S4C’s Ryan a Ronnie, based on the lives of Ryan Davies and Ronnie Williams, the much-loved Welsh entertainers who rose to fame in the 1970s. Aled played singer, songwriter and comedian Ryan Davies. He also won the Theatre in Wales award for Best Actor in 2006 for his role as Ryan in the stage play The Life of Ryan and Ronnie. His latest TV credits include Ar y Tracs (Tidy Productions for S4C) and Royal Wedding (Tiger Aspect for BBC). Aled also played Bryn in the S4C drama series Y Pris (Foction Factory) and his other television credits include My Family, Lucky Bag and Red Cap (BBC) and The Secret Word of Michael Fry (Endor Films). Aled’s theatre credits include First Voice in Under Milk Wood (Royal and Derngate’s Northampton), Waiting For Godot (Theatr Clwyd), A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Golden Ass (The Globe Theatre, London) Aled also plays Eddie in Delyth Jones’ award-winning film, Cwcw (Fondue Films).
