Originally from North Wales Llŷr spend most of his childhood in Boarding school but loathed every second of it. At sixteen he ran away from school. His parents heard nothing from him for years, though never gave up hope that he would come home. During his time away from Wales Llŷr lived in Spain, worked on farms and vineyards for bed and board. He was happy for a while, before the hiraeth became too much.

Llŷr is now back in Cardiff, stirring up trouble for a few people. But the one person who certainly won’t let him down again is his Mum. She’s lost her son once; and this time, she’ll do anything to protect him.

Dubbed ‘Most Promising Newcomer’ in the Theatre in Wales Awards in 2003, Siôn’s most recent TV credits include playing Ellis ‘Reality’ Hughes in Ar y Tracs (Tidy Productions for S4C) as well as Llyr in Caerdydd. Other credits include Cowbois ac Injans (Opus for S4C), Talcen Caled (S4C) and Casualty (BBC). He has appeared in an array of plays including numerous projects for Clwyd Theatr Cymru and Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru, most recently Write to Rock, A History of Falling Things and Bobi a Sami. He also appeared in Muscle (Lee Lyford) at the Bristol Old Vic last year.
